The building image and character of this 65,536 sq.ft., 400-student middle school reflects the surrounding neighborhood community. The facility was designed to accommodate a future addition to provide for an enrollment of 600 students.
Natural light was used as much as possible in occupied spaces, utilizing methods which are in keeping with energy conservation standards. An energy conservation approach is used which focuses on thermal envelope, mechanical, and electrical systems.
